Young Dutch are Less Forgiveness full
Young Dutch people are less forgiveness full to the Germans for what they have done during World War 2 then the elderly people who lived through during the war.
90% of the Elderly people have forgiven the Germans
The result that one third of the young Dutch people do not have forgiven the Germans in any way can be called remarkable since 90% of the elderly people have forgiven the Germans.
Lack of Historical Knowledge
The lack of the historical awareness among the young people could be the cause. The elderly generation remembers the excuses made by the Germans after the war during the period 1945 to 1960.
Remembrance Day
The fallen are remembered In the Netherlands on the 4th of May while we celebrate the German surrender and thus the end of the Second World War on the 5th of May.
